ACQUIRE LITERACY
At Acquire Academy, our Acquire Literacy program is designed to empower young learners in Foundation to Year 2 with the essential skills of reading, spelling, and comprehension. Tailored to suit a variety of learning styles, the program fosters confidence and a love for language through engaging, evidence-based teaching methods.
ACQUIRE ENGLISH
At Acquire Academy, our Acquire English program offers a comprehensive exploration of key English skills for students in Years 3 to 6. From persuasive essays and narrative storytelling to grammar mastery and vocabulary development, students gain hands on experience in crafting well-structured and impactful pieces across various text types.
ACQUIRE NUMERACY
At Acquire Academy, our Numeracy Program is thoughtfully designed to align with the curriculum, ensuring comprehensive coverage of year level specific strands from Foundation to Year 6. Students build confidence and mastery in key areas, including number and algebra, measurement and geometry, and statistics and probability.
ACQUIRE SCHOOL READINESS
The Acquire School Readiness Program is designed to give young learners a head start in their educational journey, setting them up for success in their first years of school and beyond. Grounded in evidence-based practices, the program focuses on phonics, numeracy, fine motor development, and communication skills, ensuring children develop the essential foundations before starting school.
ACQUIRE HOMESCHOOL TUTORING GROUP CLASSES
At Acquire Academy, our Morning Group Classes are thoughtfully designed to complement and enhance your homeschooling journey, providing personalised support in small group settings. These classes focus on your child’s abilities, tailoring sessions to build on their strengths rather than fitting them into a one-size-fits-all approach.

At Acquire Academy, our 1:1 Tutoring sessions offer personalised, focused support tailored to meet the unique learning needs of each student. MEET THE FOUNDER
Acquire Academy was founded by Sarah Houli, a registered Victorian school teacher and specialist in reading, writing and literacy development, with a strong commitment to helping children grow in confidence and succeed in their learning.
Through her experience in education, Sarah understands how to support students in building strong foundations in literacy, writing and numeracy. She established Acquire Academy to provide high quality, structured tutoring that helps students close learning gaps, strengthen their skills and make meaningful academic progress.
Under Sarah’s leadership, Acquire Academy provides a supportive learning environment where students receive personalised guidance, develop confidence and achieve lasting progress.
