These terms apply to all tutoring services provided by Acquire Academy (“we”, “our”, “us”) to the parent or guardian enrolling a student (“you”, “your”).

1. Enrolment & Attendance – Enrolment is secured once payment is received and confirmed. – Students are expected to attend their scheduled sessions consistently. – It is the parent’s responsibility to notify us of absences at least 24 hours in advance.

2. Fees & Payment – Fees are payable in advance by term or week, depending on your chosen payment plan. – No refunds will be issued for missed classes unless cancellation meets the terms in Section 3. – A late fee of $10 may apply for payments made more than 7 days past the due date. – All fees include resources, assessments, and feedback unless otherwise specified.

3. Cancellations & Make-Up Sessions – A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations to be eligible for a make-up session. – Make-up sessions must be used within the same term and are subject to availability. – Sessions missed without notice will be forfeited and are not eligible for refund or rescheduling.

4. Program Structure – Small group sessions will not exceed 6 students per class to ensure personalised attention. – Students may be grouped according to year level, skill level, or program focus (e.g., Numeracy, Literacy, School Readiness, etc.). – All programs include initial assessments and end-of-term reviews.

5. Conduct & Behaviour – We maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. – Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from a session or termination of enrolment. – Parents will be notified of any ongoing behaviour concerns.

6. Student Progress & Feedback – Ongoing feedback is provided to parents, including: – Weekly written feedback for selected programs (e.g., Acquire Excellence) – Term-based progress summaries and assessment results – Acquire Academy may collect samples of student work for internal review or anonymous promotional purposes, unless requested otherwise.

7. Intellectual Property – All teaching materials and resources provided by Acquire Academy are for student use
only and may not be reproduced, shared, or used for other commercial purposes.

8. Privacy – We are committed to protecting your privacy. Student information is collected solely for educational and administrative purposes and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

9. Publicity – From time to time, we may take photos or videos for social media and marketing. Please notify us in writing if you do not wish your child to be included.

10. Changes to Terms – Acquire Academy reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions. Any changes will be communicated in writing and take effect from the stated date.

11. Liability and safety
-At Acquire Academy, the safety and wellbeing of all students is our top priority.
While every reasonable effort is made to ensure a secure learning environment, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept that participation in tutoring sessions involves a degree of personal responsibility.
-Acquire Academy’s directors, staff, and tutors shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense incurred as a result of a student’s participation, except where required by law.
Parents/guardians agree to notify us of any medical, behavioural, or learning needs that may affect the student’s participation or require additional support.
-All students must be dropped off and picked up on time.
Acquire Academy is not responsible for the supervision of students outside of scheduled session times.
In the event of an emergency, we will take appropriate steps to ensure student safety and contact the parent/guardian as soon as possible.
